Friday Links
‘War on tax’ waged against costs of war Sometimes using your money is the only way to get the government to listen. Although, I’ve not filed before and the penalties are a bitch! I am listening to Goldfrapp‘s new album. I’ve been bopping in my seat all morning. I also downloaded the Walking the Line [...]
Change of View
So, I am working with WordPress 2.0 and playing around with its features. If you refresh often, I may be playing with the sidebar or adding a different theme. Regardless, if you find something funky, please let me know. Also, Tali fix your RSS feeds or you shall be banished to the normal link world, [...]

This is just a test of the Erica Blogging System
When you wake
Struggling through these meds, what they are doing to me, and the reality that I am going to be on stronger ones later, really freaks me out. I am serious when I say that I just woke up. I’ve been “awake” since 6:00 this morning, but I spent my lunch with my head on my [...]
Sleepy
That is all. Just sleepy.
I make enchiladas
And I have to tell you – 3 days later, they are even better! I am enjoying my lunch, and I thought I would share the happiness Unsweet Iced Tea that D makes for me, enchiladas with soy crumbles, sauteed peppers and onions, a shitload of sour cream and salsa. I am quite pleased. I [...]
Klonopin, Contemplation, Erica
I don’t think I can take that stuff regularly. Beyond its highly addictive nature and almost assured weight gain, it knocks me off the level of the waking world and pushes me knee-deep into a weightless drunkenness. David observed that its effects were similar to alcohol in me: one moment I am silly and sane, [...]
The Saga Continues
The continuing saga with the senior thesis and inept professor continues. I e-mailed my thesis the morning after the last class I attended. No response, and a phonecall regarding my 60 day extension from the Holt school, so I thougth things were settled. Then I get an e-mail this morning saying that I should have [...]
Keyword – Change
I felt Friday course through me like a strong vodka, filling my veins full of glee. See, I haven’t been relaxed of late. I’ve allowed myself to become mired in emotional and situational pits of sludge. The weekend cleansed me of that. So what did we do? Not a lot, and it felt great. I [...]
Warning Issued For Popular Dog Park After Gator Sightings
Be Careful!!
I am a lizard
I am peeling. I feel like a leezard (I know the spelling is incorrect, but it’s fun to say!). Uberbot has Tokodoki! The PSP has a Jak game (I love platformers) I have to go to school to pick up paperwork for the incomplete I am going to take. D and I have to get [...]
Things you see in Frisco
I found this creature more than a little amusing. David and I went to the small, organic grocery store in search of lip balm and something good to eat. As we pulled up, this beautiful cat stared at us. I took this picture from the driver’s seat, so you don’t get a true sense of [...]
My head is full of cotton
I am sick. I brought back some mutant bug from Colorado and I feel like dried poop. The trip brought to light some of the less than wonderful aspects of my family, but it felt good to see them. I think more than anything I realize that we are not the unit we used to [...]
More stories later….
for now… here’s a log cabin with snow to get you in the mood!
Home
We are home. The trip was less than I hoped for, but there were moments. I learned some life lessons when it comes to family. I got sun burn. I am VERY happy to be home. More later. Right now….it’s time for some relaxation.
