I will be honest. I’m not happy with where I am at. It’s more than location. I have not hid the fact that I have outgrown Florida and all its strange ways. It’s been an interesting couple of weeks. Lots has changed, and I realize now that I am no longer a fan of moving. Colorado could have been better, but it was amazing seeing Nicole. The animals are finally acclimated to the new house, after a trying week of craziness. And although my living room is still cluttered with torn open cardboard boxes, this place is starting to feel like home.

The move is done. I am not going to discuss the trip in my over-served (self-served mind you) state, but I will talk about my new house. I fucking love it here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While we have found a few creatures (of the icky cockroach sort) wanderin about, I find myself feeling wholly at home here. This is our step into *gasp* adulthood. No longer do we share space with others, this is all our own.
